Pilar Cristina Sanchez Gomez and Nicolas Peter Jones Rudolf von Rohr. This is who we are officially. In real life, our friends call us Piti and Jones (rarely Nicolas). Take the first and the last syllable and you get Pijones<\/strong>! A name that allows us to become one and that has been following us for some time. <\/p>\n<\/div>

South America<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\n

In January 2020, it is the beginning of our great journey. We finally decided to take 6 months of sabbatical to go to South America! A long time dream. And to tell our adventures, we create the instagram account @pijones_voyageurs<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After two and a half intense months filled with unforgettable moments, the pandemic unfortunately caught up with us and the dream came to an end much sooner than expected… <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Back in Switzerland in full confinement, the instagram account of the Pijones allows us to continue to share and remember the incredible experiences that we have lived in such a short time on this continent. Since then, there is not a week that goes by without thinking about it! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The idyllic request<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, a new opportunity to discover the end of the world presents itself. Direction Tanzania<\/strong>! After giraffes, lions, elephants and two days of trekking in Maasai lands absolutely breathtaking, we arrive at the Engaresero waterfall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost alone in the world, in the water, under the palm trees, happy, it is in this idyllic setting that Jones chooses to propose by taking a ring out of the pocket of his swimsuit. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The answer is yes of course! Thinking to take a photo among others, our guide immortalizes without knowing it this unique moment under the waterfall. The rest of the stay will take place on the turquoise beaches of Zanzibar. A real anticipated honeymoon!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Pijones Fest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of 2023, after a move and a busy year end, we say to ourselves that it is time to organize the wedding. But in what form? One thing is sure, we want this party to be like us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then think about one of our first common points: the festivals. The ones we organize, the JVAL and the Holy Groove, but also all the ones we go to every year to enjoy the atmosphere and the music. The theme and the name of this new common project appeared to us as an evidence: the Pijones Fest was born!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
